We wont be world beaters but Hodgson will set his stall out, work with our under achievers, and give us a better campaign than last sesaon if that I am confident. No point in dwelling on the negatives, that will resolve itself eventually but right now I just want to see a Liverpool team playing with confidence and expressing itself on the park, and importantly trying to win football matches in a positive fashion.I think we will get that this year.

Blocked in work...what does he say ?
Singing his praises, he has a lot of experience, knowledge of the game, respected by all ect... and that he has a job on his hands to convince our stars to say.
Generally positive though from him. A few digs at Rafa too.

Good clip. Agree with all thats being said.
"A few digs at Rafa" ?
I don't consder Aldo saying "Rafa lost a few players last season, underlined by the performance at Hull" as a DIG, it was (imo) just an honest opinion.

With good reason - English "talent" is sh*te when compared with many foreign players.
In Spain, "talent" is being able to control a 60-yard pass and change direction with one touch.
In Italy, "talent" is the ability to control matches by tactics.
In Brazil, "talent" is the ability to control and play football in confined spaces.
In England, "talent" is being able to break someone's legs in a tackle but walk away unscathed yourself.
Just look at the spanking the English team gets whenever they play anyone good. Our most skillful player is probably Joe Cole, and he's sh*te compared to the vast majority of those from the Countries named above.
Until the dickhead kids team managers are forced to abandon this "I don't want to see skill - I want you to win" mentality, nothing will ever change.

maybe because we aint as tasty a prospect as you think we are. in reality we've landed the best manager for this club at this time - he'll do great im sure

Why? Why should that even f*cking matter? F*ck his credentials, he's British so that's instant success, eh?

He didn't say he "knew", he said he "believed".
No one knows what the season will entail. Hodgson isn't world class, but nor was Rafa last season.
The key is to get behind the manager and see how he delivers. No one was expecting massive success for the next two years whilst the Americans are here, therefore why expect it with a new manager.
Added pressure of delivering results will end in complete failure, support however could reinvigorate a side needing a good season.
