I'd say Berger the most exciting signing. He starred in Euro 96, along with Macca. Wish Macca could still play wide but not in DM. sigh...

when we signed Stan Collymoore it was a british record at the time so therefore a huge signing. He was also one of the best strikers in the league at the time and was chased by all the top clubs so i guess that could go down as probably one of the most if not the most exciting transfer.

this new lad Mark Gonzalez, although on loan, has got me really excited. I have seen only a little of him, but Rafa seems to think he's the best young player to come out of Chile, and he did very well with a relegated Albacete side.

I really think he could be a very astute signing by Rafa.

I remember the Dalglish signing like it was yesterday and too be honest i thought "who".....was very miffed at the time with keegan going.From a pure excitement level i think peter beardsley gets my vote from what i had seen from him at Newcastle,and then funny enough Kewell as just before we bought him he had been outstanding against England and won Australia the game.Englands superb world beating defence couldnt handle him that night,and my god i was excited by him coming here.
