ok, so we've done pairings but who do you feel is the best individual winger? I have included only one player per team, the one I think is the best in the team (form is temporary, class is permanent)

no bias here but I reckon Kewell is as good as anyone else on the list. He did it at Leeds, even when they were struggling and has scored 9 times for Liverpool already.

What about Jesper Gronkjaer?

Chelsea will probably let him go at the end of the season. In the game against Chelsea at Anfield a couple of years back when Vladimir Smicer scored in the last minute, Jamie Carragher just could not control him!!!

He's consistent, he's got pace, he can cross, and he scores goals.

Why not take a chance?

Sorry JonnyMac but absolutely no way would I want us signing Gronkjaer, he's no more effective than Smicer and that's saying something!!

I actually think that Duff is the best followed by Malbranque. Both Giggs and Kewell can be brilliant but aren't consistent enough.....

You watch Chelsea's results and performances start picking up once Duff is back.....

I'm not saying Duff isn't the best - not at all, he undoubtedly is. I voted for him. Giggs' best days are behind him, as for Kewell, brilliant on his day, i'm made up he's playing for us.

I just like Gronkjaer as a player, I think he can be dangerous also. I just thought i'd mention him as an alternative, not as a contender.

Acknowledged and agreed, Duff is excellent, why didn't we just pay the extra for him when we had the chance?

To be fair to GH, at the time I did think that 17mill was a bit OTT, it looks like it'll end up being a snip if they get a few injury-free seasons out of him though....
