ok, so we've done pairings but who do you feel is the best individual central-defender? I have included only one player per team, the one I think is the best in the team (form is temporary, class is permanent)

I would have voted Campbell myself (if I had a vote) Sadly Liverpool fans show the same bias as mancs

From what ive seen this season its John Terry, if we could sign any centre back I would choose him. Very strong in the tackle and in the air, i think him and Sol will make an excellent pairing for England.  Not the biggest fan of Rio myself.

In my opinion, the best centre half in the Premiership has been John Terry this year.

If you saw him in the Arsenal game in the Chapions League, he was like Hyypia was two seasons ago, full of confidence, driving the rest of the back four, and in front of every Arsenal attacker when they were about to pull the trigger.

No disrespect to Sami, I like him as a player and he is good on his day, but the fact that he has 4 votes to Rio and Sol's pitiful tally stinks of bias.

I did a poll in a manc forum of where they thought they'd finish next season and at one stage 10 out of 13 votes were for champions - a bit of a joke considering their current position

I suppose your right it is bias but I did vote for Rio and I never thought of Campbell when I said Hyypia second.

i would love to say sami but i think he is a little exposed by players with pace.  Therefore i would have to say Sol. :)

Im sorry, but I really cant unnderstand this poll.

There can really be only three reasons why you would set this up:

1)   Your only a young lad, and it was through you naive love of Liverpool, and the appeal of football stars you neede some reassurance on your idolisation of certain players.

2)   You have recently purchased a computer, and are trying out all the things you can do, like the internet etc..

3)   You have not attended a game all season, and therefore not witnessed first hand how a young lad brought up in the shadow of the Blue Bell pub in Huyton has single handidly carried the hopes and dreams of countless Liverpool fans the length and breadth of the country. How the same young man has matured beyond all beleif, and managed to carry upto 9 team mates (Carragher and goaly aside) through league and cup games time and time again.

No seriously though, if Stevie G had not been with us this season, I dread to think what position we would be aiming for. More like fourth from bottom, never mind fourth place.

PS the post is not an attack, just creative writing to further my point.
Im f##king hilarious me!
