Liverpool Football Club - Games

Wolves are a bit of a boggy team for Liverpool at Molineaux, as they have not won away there since 1979.

As Wolves are 2nd Bottom in the table, an end to our jinx at Molineaux is a must, and would help seperate Liverpool from the bottom 3 for the meantime.

It would be nice to think we might have 1 or 2 new big profile players added to the squad to help galvanise Liverpool back to winning ways.

Liverpool WILL need to score as there defence does not give any confidence for a tight victory. We need to get at least 2 if we are gonna win, and even thats not a guarantee.

The last time we beat them at molineaux.

At least Kenny was in the team. Hansen scored. Would be good if 1 or centre halves gets up and repeats the feat.

Well we have improved with kenny, if not with results then certainly with team performances ( slightly ).

I expect that to continue against wolves, couple of goals and a clean sheet would be nice

I'll take anything that involves us getting any points.  If we could get our defense to step it up for one away game and not concede, I'm sure we could get 3 points.  If we do concede then it really just depends on how good our offense decides to play.  2 goals may not be enough if our defense continue to play as they have been.

I have a good feeling about this game.  I think we're gonna win it.

With the new found energy Torres has found I cannot see us losing this game, 3-2 to us, Torres brace and Kuyt steeling in with an attemted trap of the ball in the area that bounces off his thigh for the winner!

Haha I like the enthusiasm.

I think it will be 2-3, Torres with 2 and anybody else with the third.  We concede too much so it will all come down to us finishing those chances.

A clean sheet would be nice.

We desperately need a win, or form over the last six or seven games is the same as West Brom FFS!!

Who knows who the hell Kenny will pick after the last two team sheets....  I'd go for...

                Reina

Johnson  Kelly  Agger  Aurelio

   Mereiles  Spearing  Lucas

     Cole    Torres    Maxi

A clean sheet would indeed be very very nice, but seeing as we're rather hopeless away from home (and in defence for that matter) I wouldn't hold my breath. Fingers crossed though.

West Brom are also only one point behind us in the table which is even more scary, but unfortunately that is the situation this season, and you could put forward many other supposedly weaker teams that are even in better form and ahead of us in the table :(

That being said we have to win again away from home at some point (surely ???), and I've actually got a good feeling about this particular game. A 1-2 away win prediction from me it is then :D
