Not a line up I would have predicted or chosen...but what's new.

1. Johnson at LB strikes me as something you do when you are absolutely stricken with injuries and need emergency cover. Aurelio, and even Agger would be my choice before putting Johnson there.
2. I would drop Skrtel, and play Kelly at CB, moving Johnson to RB.
3. Poulsen? We are crying out for pace and attacking flair (as confirmed by Comoli in the week), and Poulsen is the closest to the opposite of both those things in a football shirt.
4. Our front line (if it is a 3) lacks pace (Torres has it, but can't receive the ball, hold it up, and then lay it off to himself to run on to). Kuyt and Maxi are steady at best, and I would have liked to have seen Babel in place of either of them.
5. I thought we'd see Cole start after his run out in the reserves, but I guess away from home, KK has gone for solidity.

As ever I hope Kenny has this right, as right now, I can't remember what it is like to win a game.

Dark days, come on Kenny, bring on the come back.

For me the line-up completely sucks. I ouwldn't play Mereilles in the hole depsite his goal against the bitters. If Cole isn't fit enough i'd much rather see maxi play there.

Poulsen must be doing something right in training.

Johnson at left back isn't that bad, he was much better against Everton. He has a far more physical prescense than Aurelio. And trumps both Agger and Aurelio in fitness.

Oh it's Andy Gray, I don't like Andy Gray's commentry's, I find him to be biased towards the opposition whenever he's commentating Liverpool FC games, probably becasue he's an Ever-sh!te-tonion.
