Liverpool Football Club - Games

Really struggled when they got forward and these have one of the worst attacks in the league and among the fewest goals. I guess they're fighting for their lives but still. IMO that high defensive line is causing more harm than good.

Anyway, at least we won, Jota not playing great but always a goal threat and i thought TAA was again pretty good in his new role. Now lets hope our rivals for top 4 start dropping points.

The best result for us tomorrow would be a Tottenham win, yes Spurs would pull level with Newcastle but we’d only be 6 points behind the pair of them, what’s more we play Spurs next weekend and Newcastle’s next 3 games are Everton at Goodison, Southampton and then Arsenal at the Emirates. If we keep winning we could be right in the mix within a week or so

Absolutely! There will definitely be dropped points as the teams above us play each other. I think ManUre could also get pulled in as they also have a few tricky fixtures. Spurs beating Newcastle would be a great result for us.

Yup we really need Spurs to win, if they do and we beat West ham midweek we'll be 3 points off 4th.

Spurs 3-0 down inside the opening 10 minutes, they are getting blitzed, this is reminiscent of our performance against Arsenal that time under Rodgers when Suarez was in his pomp.

Make that 4-0. Not even 20 minutes gone yet.

9 points away, getting more difficult, all we could do is gain maximum from remaining games and see what happens.

Very labored win and the chronic defensive problems were still there, VVD has lost the basic art of defending he was at fault in both goals and making the rest of the defenders panicking! I thought Jota & Trent had fine game. The record breaking Mo Salah has my unreserved praise and worship for the phenomenal scoring achievements for this great club :bowdown  :buttrock

Ffs why do some people insist on being complete and utter dh’s all their life. Some of the comments on here beggar belief. We all know that it’s been a thoroughly disappointing season without the pathetic sarcasm and constant nonsense from the usual protagonists.

As for the match. Really encouraging to see the attack looking considerably more dangerous. The change in formation has made a considerable difference.   Hopefully we will make the best of the remaining games.
