Much better intensity and it paid off so far. Much more running, pressing and quick passing.

Tough game. Great performance from some of the young lads.

Thought we went backwards went Fabinho came on. But it's a win and a clean sheet.

Bajčetić looks a real talent in that DM role. Some performance in that position for an 18 year old. Keita was also very good.

Naby frustrates me to death. He's so talented and he could have a future here.. but his injury record Is appalling, and I'm not sure he even wants to be here. He was good tonight though. Bajcetic was really good.. he read the game really well, broke up play, and his distribution is improving everytime he plays.

I’ll take that because when I saw the team sheet I thought we would get thrashed !! No doubt that we played some good stuff but let’s be honest Wolves were woeful. Having said that several of the youngsters put our Brighton senior players performance to shame. Chelsea will be interesting !!

We won and were in the next round. It would be good to give Brighton a damn good thrashing.

Really liked us in the first half but not that great in the second. The one goal was enough to win the game thankfully.

Agree with everyone on Bajcetic, definitelly showing promisse.

Had to laugh at the ironic cheers from the Wolves' fans every time there was an offside  , though I'd hate to be in their place.

Morale boosting win I hope, didn't catch the game but from what I've heard when the regulars came on we were quite poor.

Time to get revenge against Brighton!

I thought we were going to get our @rses handed to us when I saw the line up an hour before kick off but as others have mentioned we played well. Gomez is a funny one, thought he was outstanding tonight but he’ll probably stink the place out next week. One minute he’s got Haarland in his pocket the next he’s making Danny Welbeck look like prime Johann Cruyff

Thankfully we got the win but aside from a fantastic piece of skill we never really looked like scoring, this is an average Wolves team we are talking about. It does show what intensity can do and I agree that when the regulars came on in the second half we looked average, food for thought moving forward. If they can’t be arsed then they shouldn’t play, Mo Salah included. I’d rather not get a result with young players busting a gut than not get a result watching older experienced players not doing the same. We started the match yesterday looking nervous and without much energy. There was one back pass Wolves made to their keeper that Elliot ran down, it seemed to spur the team on as after that they seem to press more collectively. It just takes a leader on the field with a little fire in his belly to set the tone, in this case it was a 19 year old.

We won a lot of matches last year with one or two bits of skill in an otherwise average performance so the writing has been on the wall since last year. Most important thing is that intensity….. run everything down, chase, badger and stay right in there faces with energy. That is a Klopp team that many are emulating now, that is our key to success.

Like other I feared the worst when I seen the amount of changes we were making. Milner at RB scared me as well but credit to the team that started because after the changes we started to lose a lot of what was working first half.

MOTM was Elliot, ran his socks off and produced the only piece of quality on the night. Bajectic played really good and while gave a few passes away early on he recovered well. Some real moments of maturity in him.

Overall we started a lot brighter but had very little impact again. Sadly that didn't improve after the changes and you still got the feeling we were there for the taking.

Clean Sheet was the main factor for this win, the credit goes to the youngsters and Thiago & konate, as for Keita zero contribution!!
Klopp has given us a new captain who couldn't lead by example, couldn't hold the ball, and kept losing positions What a wonderful talent???????

Go on lads and win the game against Chelsea
