Great effort from Sterling. I so wish the old Geerard would turn up and start having a pop from 30 yards, no sense of danger from him of late.

you know what mate i was just thinking that 10mins ago.

Midfield just can't put a tackle in. Anytime Swansea came trough the midfield there was a shot at goal. Plus, Allen has been poor for some time now. Needs a long rest.

I wish we'd bury a couple of these chances. Swansea aren't looking too threatening, but this is beginning to feel more and more like a game we'd deserve to win, but rue a lapse in concentration.

Allen's been fine.  If they get a shot every time they get the ball, then why do we have more shots than them?  They've had 1 or 2 decent chances.  We've had 4 or 5 decent chances.  Possession is very even, but I feel that we've been much more productive with the ball than they have.  We're unlucky not to be ahead at this point, but if we can go into the second strong, I think we may be able to grab this one.

Enrique and Johnson playing really well.  Gerrard has had a few mistakes, but for the most part I think he's moving the ball really well.  Hendo a bit quiet, but I assume he's been decent when he gets the ball.  Sterling picked it up after being blocked out, and so has Suarez.  Dagger's played well as well.  Downing has been pretty bad, he doesn't seem to remember which position he's playing and Enrique has had to get back for him on quite a few occasions.  I think he's still trying to prove he's a winger.

I think Neutrals would really be enjoying this game tho.

ya wish lucas back too.
allen is playing lucas's defensive role and we cant see the best of him.
play allen further up field and we see how good a player he is.

Downing's really poor. Enrique is doing the whole work on the whole left wing.

very pedestrian from both sides.
watch them walk it up then they watch us do the same. we need a bit of urgency in our play.
maybe its time to look to the bench
