NORWICH CITY VS LIVERPOOL saturday 28th april 17.30pm ko

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Postby stmichael » Wed Apr 25, 2012 3:06 pm

We're officially doomed as I am statrting the match thread. The other two I have started this season were Spurs away and Stoke at home. :D

Anyway, expect us to dominate possession, hit the woodwork 16 times, miss loads of other chances, have 25 corners and then Grant Holt to go up the other end and score a deflected shot off Skrtel's backside with their only shot. That's basically our league season in a nutshell.

In all seriousness, nobody knows what to expect. With Fulham to come next midweek I expect a similar team to Blackburn away on Saturday and then the probable starting eleven for Wembley to start against Fulham.

as long as we win and are value for it then i couldnt care much for the scoreline.
they have exceeded expectations this season and all that really is at stake for them is an opportunity for a scalp to end their season on a high where as for us its all about pride.
cmon the pool :buttrock

If this game was at Anfield, then I can put my house to bet that Norwich will win. But since our away form have been much better than home, dare I say we have a chance of getting 3 points?

Not sure I'm happy with this:

Just as long as he is not planning on resting Carra midweek so he is ready for the final...

Carra hasn't suddenly turned sh*t. He's vastly experienced and a solid defender. Age didn't just suddenly say "Hey Jamie, you're old and cr*p now". I think he's just a victim of this season's ermmmm....curse. Stevie G has been very poor too (for his standards at least).

That said, he'd not be my first choice for the final. I think Skrtel is just being rested for today. Good idea really. He can sharpen up in the next match.
