Luscious liverpool vs bolton's bruisers

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Reina was fuming at conceding the goal. Rightly so, such a poor goal to give away.

Did anyone else notice Carragher limping a bit prior to the mistake? The mistake came from trying to control the ball with his left, when the natural way would be with his right. No excuses for the mistake though, if he was injured he should of asked to be subbed.

I won't be calling for his resignation though, unlike some of the inbred comments we seem to be getting on here recently.

We'd used all three by that stage, mate (Skrtel, Maxi, Carroll).

Another positive from today.  We had Meireles, Gerrard, and Johnson out injured, and Coates + maybe Bellamy to come and give the subs bench some bolstering.  That's nearly a team of talent which increases the options even more.  I can see a situation where we put in Johnson for more attacking power @RB and Kelly for more solidity at the back, this squad is getting deep! :buttrock

Oh yeah, fair point.

I'd have to watch the highlights back to see when the limp started.

Really good performance all round, and it was very fluid. love the way Suarez plays, defenders all over will :censored: themselves, kuyt didn't have a great game, was ok, but when we move the ball around quickly it shows up his deficiencies. Lucas was a close mom for me, not just because of his play and control of the midfield, but more because he has become very vocal and a leader. The other thing he does very well is draw in a foul when he looks like getting caught in possession, a lot like Didi and xabi used to.

Best performance so far, and a huge boost of confidence, especially for the goalscorers.

Wow... seems I missed a cracker of a game! Hendo, Adam, Downing all showing they were shrewd buys, plus our mate Suarez.

Vey complementatory write up in the Telegraph:

Suarez was so feckin disappointed that he didn't score...  ... and he was probably :censored: off with the officiating... 2 fouls on him in the penalty and then the backpass... officiating was very amateurish...

Great work in another step in rebuilding the empire.

As things tend to balance out prefer a dodgy ref now and hopefully get a good one when MANCs turn up.

Shame about international break , why there has to be one so early in the season never ceases to confound me

As menioned on BBC site.

Steel in defence
Craft in midfield
Menace in attack

With coates, gerrard and johnson to come into the team and all the deadwood being shipped out, we really do have a nucleaus of players who are able to push us well up thee table.

Good stuff :D

Based on yesterday's performance, things are looking up, eh ? Though I still think we look dodgy at the back. At least Agger has played a few games in a row and no sign of an injury....touch wood...

You cam really see the fitness is coming back. I thought we played very like how we played against Sundetland but we didn't run our of steam yesterday. Really good performance
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On
