I think we will lose this one, and Rafa will stay. He will say that there were positive elements in the game, and we have to concentrate on the next game.

I think we'll nick this one again ... To be honest at the moment i think the performance matters more than the result... We still have no idea whether the players (good as they may be) given the current setup and tactics can play any sort of meaningful football .. We havent dominated any of the games we've played so far against decent opposition and now with pretty much all our important players back, we should be expecting better performances and more control in games..

Hard opposition and all that but i think Rafa has a point to prove tactically and he seems to do well when faced with such situations..

Am real glad lennon will miss this cos of is pace but still worried about their quality out wide in modric & kranjcar. but let them feckers worry bout us.

Agree wi zidane about the space riera creates -think he might open it up for aqua a bit an all. riera meant to be back in trainin this wk so be nice to see him get an hour with aurelio at lb. shame we're missin glen as they're missin assou ekotto n glen would av got right at im. hopefully dirk n rafa will be thinkin up ways to target bale at lb.

I just hope we start off on front foot, get quick crisp passin goin n get at em. AN I RECKON WE'LL WIN!!

Point at best I think. We are not playing well and I cant see some magic transformation on Sunday.

Very tough game given both sides current form.
I hope Lennon is not fit like expected as Insua is likely to play and i think one v one he is not great at all.
If Lennon is fit i would play Aurelio left back.

I hope we can sneak this but i am not overly confident at all.

I'm very eager to watch this game, despite our current form.
The same way as teams don't allow Gerrard to get half-chances of shooting, we should apply that to Jermaine Defoe. The lad has a fierce strike and could shoot our hopes down if he gets too many chances.
I think if we dominate in the first half by making use of our chances would put us in the lead, and in the 2nd half we could simply focus more on defending and maybe try to get a 3rd in the counter attack, but then again, this is just me being optimistic about our performance :P
Pepe Reina, get your gloves ready..You have some major saving to do :P

Pfft, yeah, like we have the capabilities of scoring 4.
They can get 4, but we need some smart play in the midfield to get 4, or even 2.

Any team with Fernando Torres and Steven Gerrard is more than capable of scoring four goals my friend... its about weather or not the team actually works hard and has some urgancy to win this one.
