We made Newcastle look extremely bad, Owen had about 10 touches of the ball the whole match - you could tell he had regret on his mind before kick off, he looked very nervous too. Anyway, great team performance and I look foward to Everton on Wednesday, I fancy a big score against the blue noses for some reason, even though I know derby's can inspire team's in poor form.

P.S. Is anyone else glad we never signed Boumsong? :p

I reckon we play this line up for the Bluesh!te game:

                     Reina

Finnan  Carragher  Hyypia  Warnock

Gerrard  Sissoko  Alonso  Riise

           Cisse  Crouch

SUBS: Dudek, Hamann, Morientes, Pongolle, Garcia.

Then this for the Wset Brom game, in which we could afford to rest some key players:

                   Reina

Josemi  Carragher  Hyypia  Traore

Garcia  Sissoko  Alonso  Kewell

          Pongolle  Morientes

SUBS: Dudek, Gerrard, Crouch, Cisse, Riise.

what a great controlled game. i thought some of the passing was sublime at times. second half we were positively in cruise control. looking forward to our next game. bring on the self porclaimed "best team on the merseyside"

if they do,they will get cautions or sending offs, our passing and high tempo play will be to much for them, you can only get so far kicking your oppenants but goal totals wins games not foul totals

i think Villa are due a win and can't see Everton beating them.
