I know Neville said he went straight through Issak.. but on the replay he looked like he got the ball. This rebuild has been a absolute failure from top to bottom.. and this is what we've got to expect.

What did people expect?? Newcaslte are ahead of us right now and us getting a result here would had been a major surpris.

Trent and Robbo are nowhere near as good as they used to be..

Virgils not been the same since his injury.

Gomez and Matip are not good enough at this stage.

Yet we've spent all of our "massive" budget on the midfield which needed rebuilding last season.

Get Nunez on for Gakpo and throw balls over the top for him and Salah to run onto.

Never a red card, yellow certainly, another example of the refs affecting the outcome of the match. Newcastle committing many fouls to stop the counter but no cards from the ref.

On the Trent yellow, he gets pushed in the back and flies off the pitch, no yellow but Trent gets carded for throwing the ball. On the next sequence Trent fouls and the whole of Newcastle asking for him to be sent off, I thought that was a bookable offense.

We will have to be the mentality monsters to turn this around.
