Its going to be quite a night- do we try and blitz them or do we play the "patient" game we have had so much success with so far this season.

The concern is if we go the "nick a lead and hang on" route at 1-0 and they score - we will be up against it...

What the Hell - Let's blitz them !!!  :buttrock   3-0 to the Reds.

We have a point to prove from the first game against them, we need to win and we need to show Napoli that the game in Naples was just an abhorration.

The manager, team and fans need to be on it 110% all night. I DEFINITELY DO NOT WANT TO GO OUT AT THIS STAGE !! More of last season please. Remember that feeling when we stuffed City. Hopefully this year it will be United  This is also a massive game with huge financial consequences which simply shouldn’t be ignored. The likes of Salah, Mané, Firmino, VVD and Alison will be demanding CL football in the future and to go out at the group stages and end up in some Thursday night second grade competition is simply not what anybody wants.

Last time we played Napoli at Anfield (in a competitive game) was in the Europa League in November 2010, a month after FSG took charge from twit and *****. We were managed by the now Crystal Palace manager and below is the line-up we fielded. We’ve come a long way!

Reina
G Johnson
Konchesky
Kyrgiakos
Carragher
Raul Meireles
Spearing
Poulsen (Eccleston 65)
Shelvey
Jovanovic (Gerrard 46)
Ngog (Lucas 82)

Subs: Hansen, D Wilson, M Kelly, Skrtel, Gerrard, Lucas, Eccleston

#LFC lineup vs. Napoli: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson, Henderson, Milner, Wijnaldum, Salah, Mane, Firmino

Think it’s the expected line up - let’s go and do this

Just seen the line up and Klopp is persisting with Henderson, Wynaldum and Milner in midfield. I hope that works. We need creation and we need goals.

Would've hoped Keita was in the middle...

In a must win game  Hendo - Milner and Gini... hmmm lets hope they all 3 bring their A game..

If we get overrun in midfield it won't be any surprise... Needed Keita in there for a bit of energy and at least a little goal threat

We scored 4 without Milner and Hendo in midfield- now we need possibly 3 we revert to the same midfield that has about 3/4 of an assist between them this season...  :D

That's the team I expected apart from Milner instead of Keita.
