Liverpool Football Club - Games

Everton are putting up two walls of 4s in front of their goal...I sense they are playing for a point tonight

Very rusty and hard to find the rhythm with the all 11 behind the ball

Extraordinary lack of ambition from Everton at home, this is one dull football match. Would like to see Mo.

Need to be careful we don't get sucker punched. Everton are trying to attack Lovren whenever they attack

Lovren is woeful.
We really need a proper back up for Robinson. We always look narrow when he or TAA are injured.

We will need another injury time heroic from Origi

That was painful.

We are as rusty as an old nail. Hopefully Salah and Robertson are back for Palace on Wednesday

I honestly expected the Bitters to win that as soon as Lovren came on. I think he's earned the title "calamity" now

Didn't think we were that good tonight and lacked any real urgency with our play. Far too much hoof ball going on for the type of players we have. Midfield needed to control the tempo more while pushing forward and threatening pickford as the forwards created the space.

Knew they would be up for it and they look more disciplined under Carlo. They were always happy with a draw and almost sneaked it in the end so thankfully they didn't.

Every club is in the same boat regarding fitness and I know we made a few changes but still we were a mile off what was needed to walk away with 3 points.  A draw was probably a fair result in the end.

We dominated the ball for the first hour or so (admittedly without really creating much) but once the subs started to come we lost our grip on the game, by the end we were lucky to come away with a point, Everton had the better chances.
We’ve known for ages though that if any of our front 3 are out then we just don’t look the same side.
At the end of the day it’s a tricky fixture out of the way and we are one point closer to the title.

Absolutely awful, the worst I have ever seen Liverpool play, worse than a preseason game. And despite that, Lovren still managed to stand out!

That was a borefest, Everton were happy with a point, almost got 3 at one stage.

We had the ball but struggled to breakdown their bus. Anyhow like other said 1 more point closer to the title. City away it is then lol imagine that.
