I would love to see

                        Reina

             Kelly    Carragher    Agger    Insua

           Johnson  Mascherano Gerrard   Aurillio

                             Kuyt
                                   Torres
Subs

Ngog
Yossi
Skertle
Reira

Obviously we'll never play this as 4-4-2 is out of the question but I just hope we put a decent performance in.

He will probably start Torres and have Benayoun on the left. It will be interesting to see who plays at leftback what with both Insua and Aurelio being fit.

My guess is that we will see the following:

                         Reina

Johnson    Carragher    Agger    Insua

                   Masch    Lucas

            Kuyt      Gerrard      Benayoun

                         Torres

Subs: Ngog, Pacheco (Babel if he’s fit), Aquilani, Aurelio, Kyrgiakos, Skrtel, Cavalieri

How the hell can Reira and El Zhar be injured again. They've both played recently. These recurring injuries are a feckin' joke.

Anyways, I think your starting eleven is a good call. I'd be slightly worried about Insua getting exposed on the left, Rafa's used Aurelio at left mid a few times recently to give him more protection than Yossi would offer, but I want Yossi to start. I think there is an arguement for dropping Kuyt and playing Yossi because Kuyt's form has dropped significantly this season IMO. That's not going to happen though.

What I'd really like to see is Aquilani starting. I know he's still not fully match fit but he looked so much better than Lucas alongside Mascherano that I think it's time to throw caution to the wind.

I think we'll win this one, and I'll think our performance will be much improved.

Fabregas usually plays well against us, we need Masch to really get a grip of him. I presume if Ben's team is right that we will try to keep things tight and hope to snatch a goal. At least if Torres plays that's a possibility.

I'm going to try and watch this one. Had a wee kip this afternoon so fingers crossed when the alarm goes off I'll leap up and get into it. I think we'll get home 2-1.

Win this one and things will suddenly look brighter for us. Lose this game and..oh well. 3-2 to us.

such a big game today. with the results so far this weekend it has been left open for us to still have a very easy chance of getting into the top for by midweek

we must take the chance like this, you all know i have problems with Rafa but you also know that when it comes to playing the big teams i dont think there a better manager than him (its only when we player the smaller clubs he has the problems) so today we will take that chance.

3-1

I finds it mad given how bad our season has been that if we win today we go 2 points off of 3rd place. This season is going to be the most open ever and if we follow most of rafa's season in charge were we improve in the second half of the season who knows plus we are getting players back fit again?

I said at the start of the year that more and more big teams are going to find it hard to win all their games, its down to other teams working out how the big teams play and being able to have a go at  them being able to hold them off at the end.

i hope today lineup shows more attacking...we r at home...we should attack n pressing more...our passing should be more accurate...we cant afford to give the ball away cheaply...arsenal will kill us with their counter attack n good pass...c'mon we still can win the league....
