FT. It's good to see us win but I must admit that if Wolves hadn't been down to 10 men I don't see us winning this.

1st start mate , he showed some good vision and looks like a really tidy player , understandable as he wanted to play it safe

Pleased with the win, but that's about it.  Think we may ave struggled against 11, which says much.

Fair enough win. Thank feck for Gerrard, but once we got the first we could have got more. It's a good win as well as far as gaining ground on our rivals. Only City won, Fulham drew, Brimingham drew, Spurs drew as well so it's a good little sequence of results for us. We could do with Arsenal beating Villa to be honest as well.

There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

i thought we looked like a side that is really struggling for confidence for 2 thirds of the match.
Thankfully the daft wolves player got himself sent off and done us a huge favour.

I am not convinced we would have won if that had not happened but i dont care. We did win and we needed that big time.
Gerrards header might hopefully silence some of the criticism that he has had recently. He had no right to win that but showed so much desire in the way he attacked it, loved his celebrations for both goals as well, he was made up.
Well in Stevie lid !

Great to see young Pacheco as well, he didnt look out of place and must surely be included late in games more often.

Aquilani although it being his first start worried me, he needs to take more responsibility. He was far to Lucas like for me. What i mean by that is that he just played the simple pass too often and appeared to be leaving others to try and dictate the play. We need more than that in midfield. Hopefully it was just because he is finding his way back to fitness.
