He's not a bad player, but he's got to raise his game, because he's not been half the player we've expected this season.

Sterling and Sturridge really came to play today....I don't see anyone but Coutinho which is mentally ready.

It's depressing, because I still think this Manure team is the worst I've seen for 20 years. They're pish poor, yet we've done nothing to question their defence..

Same problems as at first half against Swansea. No ball retention in the middle. Henderson and allen are too deep and starting to look like a bad partnership. Sterling and lallana are not helping. Only Coutinho seems to be trying to do something.

BR needs to do something. Maybe change to a diamond in the middle as he did against Swansea. I cant believe how much time we are giving to the man u players when they receive the ball in the final third...

Yep that would be the best description for what we saw this first half. Kids playing adults. Where is our vice captain? No leadership ,playing hide and seek like a little boy. Gerrard would insert confidence but we need to press them and here Stevie would have a problem...Hope BR can offer some inspiration.

Get Gerrard on and hope we get a free kick just outside the box or a penalty - its the only way we are gonna get anything on the evidence of the first half
