Liverpool V Man Utd - Europa 1st Leg Thurs Mar 10th 8.05pm

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Lallana in for Milner wouldn't be the end of the world, especially as it is the home leg, probably better off putting Milner back in for the return fixture though.
Already getting nervous about this one and kick off is still 24 hours away, this feels like one of those epic CL encounters that we used to have under Rafa.

I know a lot of people think that this Manchester United team are the poorest in many years. There is possibly a degree of truth in that however  they have the very annoying ability of winning games that they have absolutely no right to. Watford recently is a classic example.

For me one of the most important aspects of this game is making sure that they do not score an away goal. Winning 2-1 would not be a particularly good result. Lovren and Sakho need to make sure that they do not get a look in. Henderson who will almost certainly play has got to step up and prove that he has a future as the team captain. Mign has got to avoid doing anything daft.

Don't BT Sport do occasional free to air matches on freeview? They had the arsenal CL match on a few weeks back. Perhaps they'll screen this one?

I doubt it Mikz. BT paid a lot for the rights and can't see them giving this one up for free.

They are the biggest rags in football history but we wont have many better chances to beat them, poorest team theyve had in many a year.
