So, how do we account for the night-and-day performance?  It can't be just having two up top from the off.  It seems like the lads are playing with no weight of expectation on their shoulders and they're also playing just a little bit mad.  First to every ball, causing the Chavs problems all over the pitch and finally putting some chances away.  It's a real shame we didn't see this much determination and belief at Wembley.

downing - penalty - woodwork. unbelievable actually. i feel a bit sorry for him, to be honest. if he'd hit the bulk of his shots 2 or 3 inches to one side or lower than he has he'd have half a dozen goals under his belt by now.

Chelsea have their minds on Munich. Good as this performance has been Bob, Chelsea have been an utter shambles

Shelvey has been fantastic in the middle. It's like having a fit Gerrard on the field.

Downing... just no words... but great half all in all. Chelsea are poor, but we're also playing well.

These commentators are ***** me off. All game they've been finding excuses for this bad game Chelsea's having and they've not given a single good word for us.

I think Downing was best choice for taking the pen.

Hendo, Shelvey, and Downing have been way better.  Shelvey's given the ball away cheaply a few times, but overall very good.

Unlucky to miss the pen, but I wasn't surprised after the season we've had.  Very good first half overall.  I wish we would have scored that pen, or at least one more.. Could be fighting to just drill these guys.

I reckon one of the Cheaski players will get sent off (Terry, Ivanovic). We are making them commit a lot of fouls, let's keep doing it.....
