Leicester away will not be easy for us, will be another battle like the Stoke match, remember they were 3 nil down to the scum and came back to beat them 5-3

I think he will go with the same team and formation that played Stoke, but wouldn't be at all surprised if he brought SG back in

Whatever team he fields we need the 3 points, another must win match for us

The games start to come thick and fast around now (Christmas/new year) and with back to back fixtures against United and Arsenal looming up on the horizon it's vital that we win not only this one but the Sunderland game Saturday.
After sitting the last one out Gerrard will definitely come back into the side but I'm hoping Brendan will play him further forward like he did against Ludogrets.
This is the side I hope he goes with -

                                     Mingolet

    Manquillo          Toure               Skrtel              Moreno

                             Lucas              Can

          Sterling                 Gerrard               Lallana/Coutinho

                                      Lambert

                                  Mignolet

                          Toure     Skrtel    Lovren

Johnson                  Henderson   Can                 Moreno

                   Lallana                    Couthino

                                   Sterling

Injury update from Rodgers press conference this morning...

Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho has returned to full training but will not be ready to feature against Leicester City on Tuesday evening, Brendan Rodgers reported today.

The powerful Frenchman has not taken to the field for the Reds since the Capital One Cup encounter with Middlesbrough on September 23, due to a thigh injury.

His recovery has taken another step forward as he rejoined his teammates at Melwood over the weekend, although the No.17 requires more time to regain match fitness.

Mario Balotelli will also not be available for selection when Rodgers' charges attempt to record a second successive Barclays Premier League victory at the home of the Foxes.

"The squad will be pretty much the same," the boss said at his pre-match press conference. "Sakho trained yesterday with the team for the first time, but won't be match-ready yet. And Mario is still not fit."

I'd like to see Lovren line up alongside Toure for this one. Skittles shouldn't be anywhere near the starting 11.

I expect pretty much the same line-up as last time. Hopefully Lucas and Toure will keep their place as starters and Gerrard and Lovren will keep their place on the bench. Also, some kid from the u21s traveled with the squad. Forgot his name sorry.

Anyways, this would be my squad:

                                    Mignolet

                Manquillo    Skrtel  Toure    Moreno

                              Lucas   Allen/Hendo

             Lallana            Coutinho            Sterling

                                   Lambert

Hendo was OK last time but I believe Lallana can do a better job in that position. He has a better understanding with Lambert as well. In normal circumstances I'd play Henderson ahead of Allen in midfield but the Lucas-Allen partnership worked well against Stoke so I'm not sure if it's a good idea to break it. That's the only thing I'm undecided about.

Anyway, at the moment Leicester are probably the worst team in the league with their current form. They don't score too many and concede a lot as well. If we don't win against this bunch then we might as well forget about the top 4. 2 goals should be enough for these. My predictions, 2-1 Liverpool (Sterling, Lambert).

Swap Hendo/Allen for Can and form-wise that would probably be our strongest line up ATM.
I can't see him going with that XI though mate, no way will Gerrard sit out two games in a row and I'd be surprised if Johnson doesn't feature as well after getting Brendan out of a hole on Saturday. I wouldn't have liked to hear the crowds reaction if we hadn't have beat Stoke that's for sure, after six losses and a draw in our last eight games (and the one win was the so called B team against Swansea in the league cup) nerves were started to get a bit frayed to say the least.
Win this one tonight (and hopefully the Sunderland game the weekend) and things will start looking a bit brighter.

Been giving some thought to this, would like to see SG playing behind the striker (it worked well when he played behind Crouchy), perhaps something like this
