Fulham V Liverpool Wednesday 12th February 2013 - COME ON !!

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Postby Santa » Wed Feb 12, 2014 11:04 pm

With Chelsea and Arsenal dropping points, this was an important important win for us in the scheme of the title challenge at the end of the season. Massive points gain when we were stucked on 2nd gear all night

take my hat off to gerrard for that pen, my legs were shaking and I'm 300 miles away in Liverpool.

Which way do you go to Fulham Yakka via fkg Southend

Awful to watch the last few minutes. Haven't they heard of keep the fkg ball ? Show a lot of character and came through a tricky test.

Massive massive three points.  We did it the hard way but we got there.

I still don't think we'll win it, but a few of the teams ahead of us will be starting to feel threatened by us at least.

How demoralising for Spurs.... they'd have been walking on air winning 4-0 at St James' and coming in to see us being held 2-2... get in there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm wiped out, seriously!
Just looked at myself in the mirror and my face isn't beetroot it's friggin purple!
God knows what I would have looked like if we hadn't have got the win.

I can't believe Spurs are just 3 points behind us.

My MOTM is Coutinho. He bossed the midfield.

Massive massive result. Bigger than the Arsenal game for me. Thought we were far improved in the 2nd half.

Not going to pick on individuals because we all know who made the mistakes. It's the result that's most important. Player coming back to strengthen the defence.

Onwards and upwards.

Probably have to go with Coutinho as well and that goal was fantastic.

Showed a resilience that I didn't think we had there, massive, massive result.
2 big back to back wins for spurs that (Everton, Newcastle away) the end of the season will be absolutely nerve shredding.

MOTM for me was Phillippe Steven Gerrard-Coutinho  Both brilliant and saved the day.

People can say what they like about the defending and that it was only against the side bottom of the league.... but if ever there was evidence that this is a good side that is not only talented but will fight to the end when the chips are down then this is it.  Coming from behind twice to win it in the last minute showed guts and winning when you're not at your best is always, always a good sign.

The teams above us are becoming very very wary of us.
