Liverpool Football Club - Games

3 points.. that is all we need.

Blackburn have been poor recently after they sacked the Fat one, so lets go there and get the win needed

2-1 Liverpool for me

i want to be optimistic, but our away form scares the hell outta me!  Even our home form doesnt fill me with confidence... im gonna say 1-1 or 2-1 Blackburn

I think if we start brightly we will be ok with this one. We will have a bit more optimism after the late winner against Bolton and I think we will beat Blackburn who are obviuosly feeling a bit hurt after the "loss" of Alladyce.

I liked the team Roy put out against Bolton, the only difference I would like to see if everyone is fit is to see Gerrard start instead of Ngog.

                          Reina
Johnson.  Skyrtl.  Agger.  Aurelio
Kuyt.  Lucas.  Mereles.  Maxi (maybe Cole)
                 Gerrard
                               Torres

0 - 2

YNWA
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

No point in going there hoping for a breakaway winner or creditable point.  We have two games in hand on those between us and top 6, so we need to win all the time now.

Blackburn are shaky with their new manager and unsettled players.

                   Reina

Johnson   Agger  Skrtel   Aurelio

Kuyt   Mereilles (if fit) Lucas  Maxi

            Gerrard Torres

with Cole, Babel, Ngog, Jova etc to come on if needed.

If Mereilles isn't fit then play Gerrard CM and Ngog up front.

Only a run of five or six wins now will rescue any credibility for our season.

No more "solid points" please Roy, this is LFC.

Brilliant fixture  :grinning:

Id like to see us play the same way we played against Bolton, nice high tempo and no hoofing the ball out of defence.

                              Reina

          Johnson      Skrtel     Agger    Aurelio

           Maxi      Meireles     Lucas      Cole

                        Gerrard
                                   Torres

I stuck Cole in there because he will have a bit more confidence in him after that goal so hopefully he can find some form. Maxi i kept in ahead of Kuyt because IMO he's a more effective player when we play a high tempo game.

Read that Blackburn will be without ten of their players for this game.  Heck, we might actually win this.

Blackburns confidence is virtually on the floor ....if the manager cant inspire the Reds to run these ragged then he shouldn't be in the game
0-2 to the Redmen and personally I would play Jovanovic  in a strikers role upfront with Fernando ....  we have a proven quality striker who was scoring for fun before he came here .........  and he should be played as such ...

its a very attacking looking midfield that i have just noticed.
Could be interesting if they are allowed to play in the opposition half  :D

Can't see Agger and Aurelio starting this one what with the history of injury and Meireles has been ruled out. But apart from that he should play the same team.
