Roy Hodgson makes four changes to the side he selected for the New Year's Day encounter with Bolton as Sotirios Kyrgiakos, Paul Konchesky and Joe Cole also return.

Liverpool: Reina, Johnson, Konchesky, Skrtel, Kyrgiakos, Lucas, Gerrard, Cole, Maxi, Ngog, Torres.

Subs: Gulacsi, Agger, Kelly, Kuyt, Poulsen, Babel, Jovanovic.

that team was right then.
Lets hope the midfield isnt too lightweight and we play far enough up the pitch to win the game.

Dont have much to say, just that we'll probably draw and I want to tell you what would my line up be

                           Reina

          Johnson  Greek   Skrtel  Konchesky

    Kuyt     Gerrard           Lucas      Rodriguez

                                 Cole

                          Torres

I would love to see Aurelio but I doubt he will be able to play

I just can't see why he's persisting with two upfront? Ngog and torres ain't no partnership. I'd rather have the rafa system with these players

What a surprise that Agger is benched again for the ever so great Skrtel :glare:

Anyways this really is an away game we SHOULD be able to win.

Surprised he left Agger out, thought he gave us something different against Bolton, bringing the ball out of defence and playing it to feet.

I bet the player isn't very happy either.
