Going out of the league cup is a good thing in my view. It's a joke of a competition and, with our Wafer cup activities, something we can do with out.

it's never a good thing loseing , but i get where your coming from.

4th for me anall.

4th for me - if not Roy's a tw@t :D
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Our first team performances have improved slightly throughout the season, we had 5 new signings in the first 11 on Sunday, we will continue to improve. We won't challenge Chelsea, United or Arsenal. City have so much quality and will improve more than us. We'll just pip Spurs to fifth.

12th this year, but to be fair we can't expect anymore, we are a mid table side these days.

I think we will finish 8th. I just cannot see us finishing higher than that - our squad simply isn't good enough right now.

I think we will be 4th-6th. Last nights result shouldn't overly impact on our league form (aside from the lynch mobs on the forums campaigning against Roy but obviously "not saying they want him sacked"), simply because only Agger out of those who played could realistically expect to get into the first team.

If we rack up any more performances like last night we'll be lucky to finish in double figures but hopefully that debacle will motivate some of the lads to get there act together, still cant see above 6th though. Below Chelsea, the scum, Arsenal, City and Spurs again  :sniffle

Back in July i predicted 3rd... at the moment im feeling like top 10.
But football can change quickly and i think ill be able to judge better after the next 5 league games.

What you guys think about the Northampton game? What an absolute catastrophe  :( The  players said sorry to fans but let's just hope we'll make a move n and re-establish ourselves as a leading force.

2nd team games aside, i think the 1st team can easily manage 4th.

I have seen enough that we can perform well, Roy will get things right, but it will take 10 or so games. Will we be out of it by then? maybe, maybe not, but he deserves a chance..........the team deserves a chance.
