I reckon that with Xabi now looking like he's staying that Rafa will turn his attentions to Keane and Bentley. With Pennant and now potentially Carson interesting Blackburn I can see a 2 player swap + cash deal on the horizon.

And I'd prefer that over Barry.

its not a bad deal if we got buy back clause it a very good deal think 3-4 years from now reina wont be here for ever well i dont think so any ways.

Carson will turn out to be england no 1 he just needs few season more of full time games and he be ready.

Carson is still young for a keeper and could develop into a quality player in a couple of years.
