Is saviola available on a free ?

Hope so , he played well the last two matches in WC

Yes he is available on a free.

Barcelona have also said that his performances will not change the fact that he will not be playing at the Nou Camp next year.

I dont know how he would fair in England but for free its worth a go.

Seriously though. I think Bellamy for 6m and Sviola for free will allow Rafa to spend more on securing Alves, possibly even SWP and even suring up th defence a bit more with Mexes perhaps.

I'm not sure Bav.  I reckon Alves is the only one we'll sign on the right.  We'll have to spend most of our transfer kitty on two strikers.

Chelsea could well let SWP leave for 12 millions but i can't see Mourinho letting him join LFC.

Indeed that would be a great set of strikers to have at our disposal but i just feel that Saviola maybe too high profile to be able to include in our squad. Surley Fowler will play most of the games with Bellamy with Crouch playing a big part aswell.

if Pongolle returns then I wouldnt mind if we had him instead of Saviola.

Pongolle is a good striker. Let's hope that Rafa doesn't send him out on loan again next season.

Am i the only one who thinks villa won't cut it in the premiership. I know he's a great player but i don't think he's strong enough, physically. I saw him getting muscled off the ball in the world cup and thats not as physical as the premiership

I agree he doesn't seem physical enough at the moment, but I think he could adjust to life in EPL.

You can get stronger with training, you can't train the skill he's got.

Villa might prove to be a good signing but he might not be available for cheap.

I like David Villa i think he is better than Torres.... Saviola would be a brilliant signing

is it me or is this whats is happening... every magaer we sign signs players from there nationality mainly?...houlier = french players. rafa = spanish.... i have an idea...why dont we get a brazilian manager

haha we don't need brazilians to be a great team we have already got the best two english players in the world carragher and gerrard and for the transfers i would like villa here because he could ajust to the preimership easily but the price for him would be at least 15 million and then we gotta pay something like 10 million for alves and we already got bellamy so if rafa has a budget over 30 million it is possible
