Its less than a week till the start of the season and ive noticed that the injuries are already coming before a ball has even been kicked in the prem. Dudek has been rushed to hospital with a serious injury, Traore out for month, Zenden has just got a knock, Crouch is out for 2 to 3 weeks and also Kewell has had an operation and is out for the start of the season. Add to this the fact we dont have experianced cover for the center backs, dont have a right winger, and also have only 2 fully fit strikers if baros is sold, we could be lookin at a very thin squad for the start of the season. Im not trying to be negative cos i think we have the potential to have a great season but we cant afford to have the sort of injuries we had last season. And Barragan and Baros have been named in the squad for wednesdays game with Sofia.

I've always liked him, but he seems to be too much of a whiner.

Hope that this gets all the injuries out of the way, coz if it continues like this, we'll have a squad of about 6 fit players.

Says in Liverpool Echo that Baros has now been removed from the squad as Lyon are about to make a bid as they want him to partner Carew upfront, if its true, we need to be looking to make additions to the squad before Saturday.

Thank god!
Was worried Baros would be staying there for a second.
Don't get me wrong, i think he's a great player, but he doesn't work for Liverpool.
Baros for Liverpool = Newcastle style Player
Baros for Czech Republic = Adriano style player. (world class)

We do need to be looking for a hitman up front, what with Crouch injured, Morientes playing like he is, and Cisse being the only fit striker we have.

all it needs now is everyone to keep talking about this for it to gain momentum.... so lets all shut up and keep our fingers crossed

Just been confirmed Dudek is out for 3 months with a fractured dislocated sholder.....Ouch. Rumour has it Reina choke slammed him and carson followed it up with a leg drop!!

Dudek out for at LEAST 3 months.......damn, how can we sell him now? Oh well, at least Rafa don't have to feel guilty about leaving Dudek on the sidelines now

That's not what I heard. Apparantly, Carson was trying to stop him saving a penalty from Didi, but he saved it anyway.

Of course, Carson lost his temper and dropkicked him in the face. Dudek ran to the other side of the pitch with Carsons boot still stuck in his face, but managed to tag in Garcia anyway.
Garcia sprinted down to Carson, tried to push him, but tripped over Cisse's foot.
Carson got angry at Cisse, he thought he could take him on himself.

So, Carson and Cisse are squaring up, Dudek has just managed to pull the boot out of his face, and Garcia broke his nose.

Dudek threw the boot, which hit Zenden in the leg, and ran over to Carosn. He drop kicked him in the face and fell akwardly, hurting his elbow.

So Dudek is in hospital? jaysus. Looks like we'll be listening to more of his classic Hospital related anecdotes.

One night in May - "he told my wife he had a heart attack because of me, but said dont worry i'm happy...pheww"
