yea well... its an opinion shared by many ... fans and neutrals... you need to go out and beat the smaller sides to win the league and until we can go out and do that consistently then i dont see us winning it.. i dont see Rafa chenging his 'ways' anytime soon so when all is said and done i just dont see him winning us the league... silly maybe but sure as hell makes more sense than ... eh im getting bored here ur dragging me into another one ur black holes arent ya ! cheeky baastard     :p

1 point behind in the title race in April, with everything to play for, and you've got folks saying it's all over, and that we should focus on the Champions' League instead.

I honestly believe there are more sensible 2 year olds... :D

hah... good to hav ya back ya old fart... just to clear up a few things im not sure you quite understand how things stand... we'r 1 point behind and they have a game in hand.. calling it (us managing to win it that is) a long shot as far as anyone with half a brain is concerned would be an understatement ... you wanna bury your head in the sand and think we'll win all our games and theyll drop 4 or more points go ahead.. knock urself out but dont expect everyone to think the same... and by the way ur still boring as fck.. and i believe theres more sensible 2 year olds aswell ... now back to flipping burgers

F*ck me - . (And you can take that both ways...)

someone said that about you  :Oo:   :D

Nah mate - you were dreaming...  :eyebrow

Just a note - yet again, people take offence to others who think we wont win the league.

This place is to express your opinion - if people think the title has gone, so what? Why get all uppity about it?
Let's face it they're probably right.

For me, Im not letting go yet.
I had well given up after the 3 draws (Stoke, Everton, Wigan) way back when, but the Man U away result
followed by their defeat at Fulham has got me buzzing again.

I look at thier fixtures now, and the way they're playing, I can see them fecking up in a few of them.

Sunderland away for example, I can see a draw there.

Its game on again if they do.

Dundalk wrote:To all those who don't believe.

At the start of the season most people said they would be happy to just be in a race for the title come Easter and not be sweating on if we get fourth place from October on. Well its more or less Easter and we are a point behind United and have great chance of winning the thing.

Why give up now?
Why concentrate on the CL?
Why just hand it to United?

A lot give out about Rafa on here but do yous really want him as a well paid Liverpool manager to go in at tell the team to forget about the league? We had our chance an blew it!! I wonder if some people on here really do support Liverpool? We can still win this....

If it comes down to the last game and and we are 3 points behind United and they have a superior goal difference we should still go out and give it all we have, never give up till its over, until its impossible. Why as a Liverpool fan would you want your team to give up? I don't get it ???

Support and believe......is it to much to ask for?

Don't let these get ya going Dundalk.. there are and have always been enuff believers on this site, so let the blabberers blab.. if they can't believe or even just see what happens .. even now.. I'm afraid it tells you a lot more about their alliegences then our belief  :rasp

If ya can't believe now.. what are ya innit for  AY AY :Oo:

In our marvellous captain's own words...

"Steven Gerrard feels a combination of belief and fitness have been the key factors Liverpool's push for both domestic and European glory.

The Reds skipper could not hide his joy after the Reds snatched yet another late winner against Fulham on Saturday to further bolster their title bid.

He admits confidence is high in the Anfield camp, and although Manchester United are still the favourites to be crowned champions, he is determined to take the race right to the wire.

"Our fitness has been the key to our recent success," he said.

"It has been instrumental in keeping us going and ensuring we maintain our challenge for silverware on two fronts. Belief is also a key factor.

"Confidence is very high and we have the momentum at the moment.

"I'm the captain. I have to be confident, I have to have the belief we can do it, we all have to.

"We've got nothing to lose. In terms of the Premier League we know United are still favourites and we know that Chelsea are not out of it.

"Everyone presumed that the title race was over, but there is always going to be twists and turns. One thing is for sure, though, we will give everything we've got."

The skipper also highlighted the return from injury of Fernando Torres as another reason for his team's recent good form.

"It's crucial to our team and paramount to the team's success that Fernando stays fit. He is priceless," said Gerrard.

"If we can do that from now until the end of the season, it's going to be an exciting finish to the campaign."

From .tv in case ya don't BELIEVE !
THE BRENDAN REVOLUTION IS UPON US !

Listen they've conceded 8 in their last 3 games.

We have scored 16 goals conceeded only once and that was a penalty against them kunts.

Do they look like a side that will win their next 8 games? No. Do we look like a side that can win our next 7 games? feckin right we do.

Does our manager and players believe we can do it? To right.

Now grow some balls, fasten your seatbelts WE ARE IN A TITLE RACE lots of twists and turns yet to come secure all lose items this is going to be one hell of a ride.

Hold your nerve we are going to do it. Why? because we just will.

Now get behind Rafa and the boys or get off the train if you dont have the bottle for it.
Our lads need us more than ever now when did Liverpool fans start being scared? Never, your either with us or your not dont be afraid of the dark, at the end of a storm theres a golden sky for your dreams be tossed and blown WALK FUCKING ON WITH HOPE IN YOUR HEART.

We beat Blackburn go back top of the league the mancs play Sunderland they will be http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xtrEN-YKLBM Rooney and Ronaldo will be acting the goat again, Rooney will lose his rag knowing we are back top of the league.

They will be away from home Sunderland fans giving them abuse and singing YNWA, Cisse and Jones harrassing their defence, Cisse to do his old club a favour cause hes getting called a scouse b@stard and a murderer like Gazbaz got called yesterday.

Sunderland should have atleast got a draw at Old tw@tford they where really unlucky, they need the points no bending over backwards with a tube of KY jelly in hand.

We face fat sams hoof merchants but we will find a breakthrough best atmosphere for an early kick off ever at Anfield cheering the lads all the way to 3 points.

They are http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xtrEN-YKLBM like never before because its us, and we need to stay calm. I remember a poor scouser Tommy who was shot an old nazy gun, as he lay on the battle field dyin, dyin, dyin with the blood rushin out of his head, as he lay on the battle field dyin these where the last words he said I support the team that plays in red its a team that we all know its a team that we call LIVERPOOL AND TO GLORY WE WILL GO.

The reds are comin up the hill boys, the reds are comin up the hill boys, they all laugh at us, they all mock at us, they all say our days are numbered born to be a scouser, victorious are we. If you wana win a cup then you better hurry up cause we're LIVERPOOL F.C.

We're gona be back on our perch Furgie you alckie poker faced kunt.

One of the best posts ever... :) ... of course we all feel abit down after hoping the mancs were gonna drop points against villa but ended up taking all 3.  But there are more games ahead... so keep your head up...

I know it was sickening to watch that late goal yesterday and it's tempting to assume the mancs will simply kick on from here bouyed by their late comeback but it isn't necessarily going to happen. The mancs are short of form at the moment, their performance yesterday was poor (I know they were missing Vidic, Ferdinand and Rooney) and winning with late goals isn't an instant cure for poor form. If anyone knows that it's us this season, with the exception of a few games here and there, most people concede we did not play particularly well during the first half of the season even though we were winning games. During this current spell of games (since the Sunderland game) we have looked more fluid, confident and determined than at any other time of the season. There is a lot going for this team at the moment, it's hard to pick a player who is out of form, Gerrard, Torres, Masch, Alonso, Arbeloa, Aurelio, Benny, Reina.......the list goes on, even Doss looks half-decent (stop me there someone) this past month. Rafa has signed another contract, as have Stevie and Kuyt with other players seemingly ready to follow. The lads look very 'together' at the moment, the Captain is making all the right noises and the fans are doing their bit. How can you not be ecstatic with the way things are going at the moment!? It's going to be tough but we're definitely in with a decent chance with this thing.

I can't fu...c...k...ing wait till Wednesday...
