sorry you lot but i have got to say that i feel let down by RB, All of the liverpool fc wanted him back at the club apart form RB, i dont think RB like being told what to do, looks like we are stuck with strikers that can not score goals in the prem.
Newcastle United have met Real Madrid's asking price and conditions."

Or in europe, Liverpool F.C. the home of midfield goal scorers. :glare:

Owen is seriously beyond our valuation. We don't have the money that Newcastle has and that's the problem. Despite our continual need of a center back and a right winger, I just have a feeling Rafa would make a bid for Dirk Kuyt for around 8mil.

Your letting the fact that he want to come home blind you. REMEMBER he walked out on a new contract and all his fans who adored him. He was our own Raul, an untouchable player but he packed it all in for a "new challange" ( yeah i suppose seeing how long you can sit on the bench for is a challange). One thing for sure is that wherever he goes, he is not going to be idolised like he was here despite what he may say in public if he moves to Newcastle deep down we all know he will not be happy there. Its seriously time to let go of the past and look to the future.

ITV are wrong and haven't updated their site like everyone else.  I don't feel let down by Rafa at all cos he's the manager and makes the decissions, we have to respect that and hope that Nando, Crouch and Cisse start finding the net cos if they don't I'm sure Rafa will then bring in replacements in January.

Isn't Kuyt a target man in many ways similar to Crouch? If thats the case i don't see the manager signing him. I just want us to go out and sign a CB & RW, get the silly season over and done with and get on with the season.

BavLondon we have already had a 10 million pound bid turned down for Dirk Kuijt, even the Spurs got a 12 million bid turned down they want 15 million for him or more, a big gamble as he is not premiership proven YET, but his value will double in the WC and Feyenoord want to hold on to there Stevie G, and sell him to someone like Chelsea for silly money after the WC.

How has RB let us down. The Owen situation only came to light after Crouch was bought. When Rafa came here, the first thing he did was fly out to Portugal to see him and Stevie, why did he do this becasue they were important to him. And MO turned his back on that and left. You dont :censored: on your own doorstep and then ask to come back in? Does MO think that this is a ride he can jump on when he likes? If he did come back RB would lose face also bowing to preassure from toe board. We won the European cup without him so why is everyoe acting like were about get relegated is we dont sign him now.

Here, here.

If we could all match Rafa's patience in the transfer market, it'll save us a lot of stress.

If Owen is really that good, do you not wonder why none of Europe's big boys are trying to sign him??

I've said it before, he's a good player, but massively overrated for the simple fact that he's English.  If we paid anywhere near 18mil for him it would be an absolute disgrace, never mind the fact we sold him for 8.
