Okay so Heskey has gone, but who elso do you think is going to be sold or released this summer???

Smicer
Cheyrou
Biscan
Traore
Vignal
Diao

I would have kept Heskey myself.........

I do'nt know about cheyrou. He could be good when he settles in and gets a good run of games behind him.

Definitely - Biscan, Diao, Diouf

Earmarked for eventual departure once we're up and running - Smicer, Traore, Vignal, Cheyrou, Riise, Luzi and maybe more clearouts

We can't get shot of every average to poor player in one go. Ideally we should get shot of the manager first, because an incoming manager will have his own ideas on new players and existing players

Because he isn't that great a player and if we want to win titles then we're going have to offload any average players. You may consider Riise a good player, I seriously doubt he is good enough for Liverpool FC. Could easily and somewhat sadly add Henchoz and Hyypia to that list

I certainly don't see the current squad making a serious challenge without a major overhaul.

At this rate the only players left will be Kirkland, Kewell, Stevie G and Owen ( Ciise maybe if he finds his feet quick enough ).

souness tried to do a major overhaul and set us back years, well in my opinion but us on the road to where we were a few years ago, i think houllier has done a good job of getting us back on our feet but it remains to be seen whether he can bring us any further, hyypia is class , someone like mexes or gallas would suit him down to the ground, im not a fan of henchoz he does try but gettin on a bit, keep riise in his first season the guy was brilliant and he can be a great player, thats why barcelona were sniffing around after him after his first season here! :cool:

we don't need a major overhaul. everyone knows who the players are who don't deserve to wear the red shirt. players such as henchoz, riise, murphy should be kept to add squad depth. we just need 2-3 players to improve the first eleven.
