The clearout begins

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Those who wrote in disgusted tones saying selling Murphy was rubbish are now looking very silly, Stu the Red etc. I for one am glad he is going as I have posted many times he is simply not good enough. Also Finan may go to Blackburn for 2 mil. So 5 mil for two very average players = good business. Diouf may be swapped also. I like the way Rafa thinks, especially coz i said Murphy, Finan and Diouf should clear off. Too many apologists on here for these players. Rafa is a winner and can see we can improve on these players.

Now what am I bid for Trarore? Start the bidding at tuppence! :;):

Have a feeling Diao's going to be found out fairly soon. If a player with a track record like Murphy is being sold, I'd be astonished if Diao's kept on.

Traore is pathetic. Not cut out for a place in the squad yet.

Diao, looks better with more potential than Diouf.

Murphy going. There must be someone coming in. There gotta be. Lets hope he is an established player.

Looks like we cr#pped more than we ate:

Transfers In: Djibril Cisse (Auxerre); Josemi (Malaga)

Transfers Out: Emile Heskey (Birmingham City); Richie Partridge (out of contract); Michael Foley-Sheridan (out of contract); Stephen Gillespie (Bristol City); Stephen Vaughan (Chester City); Bruno Cheyrou (Marseille – one-year loan); Markus Babbel (VfB Stuttgart); Alou Diarra (lens – one-year loan); Anthony Le Tallec (St Etienne – one-year loan); Gregory Vignal (Rangers- one-year loan) Danny Murphy (Spurs)
High probability to follow: Finnan (?), Diouff (Malaga)

I'm a little nervous about the fact that Benitez has refused to say whether he'll be getting a replacement.  if he doesn't the squad's looking mighty thin.
