i knew everyone would go to town on me for that.just a common mistake. riise and carra are competing for the left back position and finnan is really our only righ back. when finnan was out henchoz was played at right back and it didnt work. i wouldnt consider playin riise at right back

You say Carra and Riise are competing for the left back position ? ....... I've never seen Carra at LB . 
So I guess Riise gets the nod ?

I couldn't believe that either, Carra has been at his best at left back - esp up against golden balls. But come on, Finan, he was never a great player at Fulham and was very poor last season. I can't see hi being good enough to sustain a place if/when we get money for replacements

I hate Finnan to be honest. I think he is really poo. He cant cross the ball and he doesnt like to get stuck in like carragher does. Finnan doesnt deserve to play football for Liverpool. I hate him

Finnan has to improve next season as he couldn't be any worse than last season.

But at 28 will he ever be good enough to make that rb position his own

Looking back we have always done well with irish players in the side but finnan is hardly a typical irish player as he seems to lack strength,commitment and bite in the tackle.

I dun really fancy Finnan as well. I'd prefer carra.
