Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I may well get shot down for this but I think it's time to start easing Carra out of the 1st team.

I agree BUT the organisation he brings out back line may be greatly missed, only one way to find out I guess...

Coates is probably going to play a lot more than we expect, Carra's getting on, Agger is glass and Skrtel is, well, Skrtel
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

I see Kelly playing so well at RB I tend to forget centre half is his true position. If Johnson can stay fit and in form then that's our defence sorted for the next few years. Hopefully we can bed in Flanno and Robinson too with the passage of time.

No reason to get shot down.  It's time.  Not all in one fell swoop, but it's time.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

Should start of as 3rd choice centre back and ease his way in, the Premiership isnt easy on central defenders coming from foriegn leagues. Skrtel hopefully will have his playing time limited now

Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Uruguay international Sebastian Coates on a long-term contract.

The 20-year-old completed his transfer from Nacional after passing a medical and securing a work permit earlier today.

Coates will now link up with his international teammates ahead of their friendly in Kiev on Friday night.
