Luis Suarez:

I want to welcome Coates, partner in the uruguayan team, friend and great player who just signed for Liverpool! WELCOME!
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

Confession time.  I've been refreshing the Offal every minute for the last half hour.

This must have been why we didn't pursue Jones more. So Utd pay 16-20Mil for an under 21 not tested properly at the highest level and we sign someone the same age who played every game at the Copa America, and for less than half the amount.

Get the fk in. Ok so is he gonna be in the team for Stoke?

But who would you swap?

Carra? Leaves us no leadership at the back

Agger? The better player, fit and refined.

That's the idea though, having a choice, quality in depth.

I can't see any way he would go straight in the team.

I may well get shot down for this but I think it's time to start easing Carra out of the 1st team.

But with Agger's record I don't think he will last the season so im certain Carra and Coates will be playing together at some point.
