"The 0-0 draw was exciting & Entertaining"  :glare:

"It would have been unfair if we had have won" "I was expecting nothing out of this game anyway" :Oo:

"Lets hope they (Man City) dont put 6 past us"

Them 3 statements alone are not only cringeworthy they are fuckin small time and embarressing.

He needs to realise he's not at Fulham anymore what is acceptable for Fulham where they dont have expectations is not acceptable at Liverpool because we do.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

what improvements were you expecting considering we were forced to sell our best midfielder, our best striker is half fit at best and probably our best creative player along with gerrard has unluckily missed our last three games with suspension. this is not to mention the fact that we're playing a centre half at left back and have now lost a key player (kuyt) for a month?

listen it's hardly been awe inspring stiff but we've had nowhere near what i'd consider our best eleven on the pitch so far. i'm not pro or anti hodgson. we battled well yesterday but were devoid of quality. that's where we are unfortunatley.

Thats what true fans do.
Not moan and bitch like arl women who are made up to see a manager not getting the best out of players, most of whom he has inherited from a deluded man who lost the plot.
"Wasted 9 million"? Thats one of the silliest and ignorant things I have seen. How much did Benitez waste?
I must say Im getting peeved now at these pathetic digs at a man whos doing his best on OUR behalf. Of course you are entitled to your opinion but seriously, dont you ever get bored with whingeing? Benitez, thankfully has gone. Hes not (hopefully) coming back. Get over it. Frustrated and angry as you are for what you see as an injustice, its done. It cant be undone. This constant wailing and gnashing of teeth does you no good whatsoever.
Youre unhappy. We get it. But give it a rest please. Theres a good gentleman.

Why didnt you wait for as long as it takes with previous manager ? Why do we now have to wait for as long as it takes with this manager ?

The previous manager was doing his best for us yet didnt stop you having the digs ?

Yes we wasted 9 million - money that could of gone towards improving the squad .[/quote]

Do you think Roy is an improvement on Rafa so far ?

100% better. I no longer cringe at listening to our manager talking utter sh'ite. One win two draws and a defeat is not ideal but hey, Rome wasnt built in a day. It will take time and patience but I believe we will come good soon.

Thta's more like it. Kin el is it really that hard, some of you need to take a break from the PC and go and get laid or something.

Ok so he's a really nice fella and he's dead good with the media. Anything else ?

We lost at home to l'Arrse last season, so that was an improvement.

St Mick we were told on numerous occasions by the Hodgson fans that he would be a breath of fresh air at the club - we would no longer be getting these inept performances , we would not set up negatively against smaller clubs , we would attack , the players would play with a smile on there face , the man management from Hodgson would improve the morale and the way we play - when does it start then ? not seen anything that people were suggesting yet .

Seriously. Do you carry on like this around the house? Does your family not ever say "stop Fu*king moaning like an arl quilt"?
The last manager had more than enough time and money to win the league but didnt. His best wasnt good enough. We have to give the new manager time because its in OUR best interests to do so.

yes i know bam , your clutching at straws mate . You are just as worried as the rest of us ,but you won't admit it .

This post , your most sensible for a while proves it

I'm not going to deny that 'the sky isn't blue' but by the same token I'm not going to 'form a lynch mob', our football so far is not as great as it can be.

Firstly, anyone who thinks Roy or any other manager for that matter is going to come in and turn a morale depleted squad around over night may as well stop reading here. If they are expecting miracles and what not perhaps they should read a nice little narrative staring Tinkerbell. With that said we are four domestic games into the domestic season and I'll be honest and say that I'm not keen on us just sitting back off of the opposition like we have been. We do resemble an average outfit when we allow other teams like Brum and WBA to play. Yet baring in mind Roy has not had ample time in pre-season, brought in no new coaching staff and limited funs etc it's more than likely going to take him a little while longer to turn the side around. I cannot believe Roy will just settle for what we're seeing at the present point in time, IMHO he's going back to what he sees as 'back to basics'. I said after our win against WBA our defence looks to be more susceptable to conceeding goals, there are gaps there that weren't there before. BUT Roy has to balance defence and attack in that we can't optimise our attack to the detriment of our defence and visa-ersa, he needs to balance that right now. We've lacked creativity for x-amount of years and the signings he's made look to reform these insufficientcies.

I'm not convinced on Lucas, N'gog, Poulsen and Jovo while Cole and Meireles do look/are that more 'special'. I'm hopeful Konchesky will be our LB version of Steve Finnan at RB.

The team and the manager specifically need time to transition and I will be defending him simply because I believe a vast bulk of our support cannot wait for him to fail, I'm backing the underdog here to prove he's upto the job. Lets not forget it 'took Fergie seven years to win ought with Manc United' and yet here we are 4 games into the season and like it or not the lynch mob are forming.

Sensible?

Like I say or like Mick says  :D I'm not going to deny the sky isn't blue Igor, like many have done on here in the past.

I think it's an objective post which doesn't ALL swing at doom and gloom. Therefore I do not think I'm clucthing at straws, I'm not going to knee-jerk four games into the season after playing 8 competitvely and loosing just once, remember it's a results driven industry.

You may not want him to get the sack but I bet you and a few will be the first to celebrate it. Really you'll be celebrating it just to stir the people up who lost faith in Rafa after 6 YEARS AND NOT 6 WEEKS and for no other reason, sad but true  :(
