Very worrying infact.

Overating players performances me thinks.

You are just jealous cus you like to be "the one" who starts the player ratings threads after games. :rasp

Cisse did absolutely nothing off the ball, and didn't do a whole lot better on it either apart from a couple of quick flashes of pace & skill

he'd get a 5 or a 6 from me I'm afraid

and Uriah Rennie was characteristically pants

MOTM for me was Crouchie, even apart from the goals he was EVERYWHERE yesterday and is the type of team player we need

Had some great opportunities to put himself on the score sheet, two in particular come to mind 8 yards out. Still rusty from injury, we will see some great things from Harry in the coming weeks before we sell him.

I still don't think he's going anywhere.  Rafa will give him this season to see what he's like fully fit and, if today is anything to go by, he's starting to look like the player we bought.

Finally a pro-kewell fan.....

Kewell still is our most techincally gifted player.....  Its time some ppl here realise that.... :buttrock

He's got to be one of the worst going around, only Mike Riley makes him look decent.

Give Crouchinho his due he took his second goal well and played pretty well overall, can't say as I'd give the Wigan defence much credit though as they backed off for the first and were AWOL for his second (and Garcia's goal)

I agree on the Gerrard MOTM and most of the comments, might just knock Warnock down to a 7, Morientes down to a 6, Crouch down to an 8 and maybe Kewell up to an 8. (as much because I think people get carried away with marks out of 10, see BBC giving England cricketers 6s despite the innings defeat :O )
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

I think the expression is "one swallow doesn't make a summer", we may as well give him the rest of the month since we can't sell him until January anyway.

on that form, no central midfielder in europe can touch gerrard. he was absolutely immense.

first half was the best i've seen us play since arsenal at home last season.

Did well, bit trigger happy with the yellow against Hyppia at the end, but overall he controlled the match and let it flow. Played advantage a couple of times where clearly it wasnt the best option, but apart from that, he was good.

You obviously take illegal substances.

Why's that, I honestly think the guy had a good game. I would have been $hitting my pants if we had Mike Riley. This guy was ok, but he made some stupid advantage decisions and brandished the yellow ticket too quickly.

Instead of talking it up, tell me why you think the opposite, why am I wrong?
