but the case is that last year he started to make mistakes and sorted himself out, now they seem to be coming back.

yes its ok to make mistakes....if it dont end in a goal. this time it cost us a goal and the team could not pull it back.

I dont see him at the club this time next year, I dont care about his contract or what he says, I dont think he is hapy here anymore.

disrespectful. ungrateful. t@sser.

just 3 words I'd use to sum you up after the las few posts.

and you lack the skills to understand that this is a forum where members can post their own views and worries about the club and players.

Take my advice you need to sort your anger out.

Reina is bored stiff, dissappointed, feels let down and making sloppy mistakes beccause of it. You don't have to ge a genius to interpret his body language.

I don't buy that, he looks fine to me, he's always been prone to stupid mistakes.

that's propably down to his book not making as much money as he would like! ffs has he said atm he isn't happy? if any player ever said in public or displayed the fact they were not happy with life in wearing the famous LFC jersey, then they don't understand or don't reaslise how privaliged they are to be in that posistion end of! reina is an intelligent person & if you read his book you would agree. he is more than happy cause he has no threat over his posistion as no1 keeper at LFC fact!

as i say the only thing he is un-happy with at the moment is that the book sales aren't as good as he hoped! fecking resession who needs it-i'd love to buy his book but saving my money to buy a ticket for the next game i can go to! poor old pepe -give him a pay rise in the new year kenny -that might make him happy eh!!!

He and his family must be starving because of his "low" earnings...

i would actually agree that reina doesn't seem as happy as he used to. i can't be bothered going into any kind of long explanation but its what i think so there. something about his body language, and his face being a little longer. i guess he also knows he's a top keeper and should be playing on the biggest stage. i'm sure he's missing it.

:D  yes mate spain's 3rd choice keeper-the biggest stage yep! some players need to appriciate what they have & who they play for! reina as i have said is an intellient bloke & professional end of . he is privaliged to play for LFC! cause he doesn't have any competition for his place, the day that comes he might not have such a long face mate- nor will will his body language be different, cause the FC would have sorted that out before that would ever surface.

so don't agree with anyone who thinks he isn't happy at LFC. cause if he isnn't a club at the so called biggest stage would have snapped him up by now, or it might be that playing for LFC & KENNY is a prize worth fighting for the biggest stage cause under kenny he knows deep down he will play on the biggest stage once again!!

haysey, you're red to the core, mate. respect for that. pepe isn't. he has love the club obviously, he's stuck with us through some rough times and is still there putting in good performances week in, week out. but i think that deep down he's questioning his next career move. for today's modern footballer the feelings we have for our club, our team, our manager, our history, etc etc are pretty much alien. looking at things through the modern footballer's eyes last year, this year, and maybe next year, playing for LFC isn't the biggest stage any more and there is no absolute guarantee that it will be again in the near future. we keep on believing, of course, but as fans we're not wondering how the next 3 or 4 years will impact on our career and lifes achievements

Agree completely. I think the Torres situation knocked many of us for six.. and gave us a real dose of reality that these people are employees not fans.. they dont have the affinity for clubs as we do. "His armband says hes a red"...etc etc..that was OUR perception as fans, not his. I admit i thought he liked us more than he actually did so was pretty f**ked off as everyone else.

Even Stevie almost left us (but in the end his genuine love for the club over-rided his desire to move). Pepe has spoken of Arsenal and he is clearly missing Champions League football. Suarez will start having mumblings pretty soon too hence our need to bring in better players around him to keep him satisfied and fight for honours.

Players are beneath us when it comes to loyalty. In terms of loyalty and love for the club i have more respect for any kopite than any player who has ever worn the red jersey. Kenny is a club legend..and that club legend took great delight as manager of Newcastle when Warren Barton scored to make it 3-3 at Anfield and left us pig sick (before God headed home the winner). You often hear an ex player "playing against my old team is extra special, it would be amazing to score in that game". Have to laugh at the bitters who talk of players as being "evertonians"... yeah that Rooney is a real "evertonian" as he hammers the ball into the bitters net for the umpteenth time and then wheels off in delight.

Its a job, they are employees.. some of these employees have MORE affinity for a club than other employees, but nowhere close to what we do as fans. It especially sickened me during the stadium debate when they wheeled out former Liverpool players (Barnes and Houghton) who were FOR a shared stadium (as if what they say matters).. and talksport's Danny Kelly said "EVEN THEY ARE FOR IT SO SURELY IT MUST HAPPEN"... when its views of the fans, the people who love the club, live and breath it 24/7, that should always take precedence over the views of any current or ex employee.

We all love Pepe, he has shown more affinity for us than many other foreigners, but hes just like any other employee who wants to better themselves and their career. There is no more iconic club in England than us, none have our history or success, but that matters little to an employee who seeks his next pay day/title.
"Its not just any other club" C.Tyldsley
"Liverpool are a special institution" X.Alonso
"Anfield es un templo de fútbol" AS
"The English club prove miracles do exist" D.Maradona
"Theres not one club in the world so united with its fans. Liverpool fans sent shivers down my spine" J.Cruyff

Great post, couldn't agree more. We need to stop projecting our feelings onto players and start being more realistic.
There will never be a player, especially in the modern era, who loves the club as we do.

Has Pepe actually said he is unhappy or wants to leave? Surely he must see that we are on the up and will be fighting it out for top 4 this season. Once we add some goals to our play we can/hopefully will go on a run like we did Jan-June this year and romp back into the CL places.

However if he is unhappy and wants to leave then we should sell whilst is stock remains high and bring in someone else. Not sure who though that's the only thing...???
