What Bav and Dawson have both alluded to is for the new owners to demonstrate man management skills - Bav, reassurance that they will be decisive, Daws to demonstrate that they value the palyer. You DONT just kick out a key player or a key employee - thats self defeating in a number of ways as those actions could be misinterpreted in a number of ways by both the rest of the squad and any contender being brought in. Time for the club to demonstrate maturity and tact and I have growing confidence the new owners will handle it correctly.

True. Mind you, if they hadn't forced him out it would have been a certainty, so it was a gamble worth taking.

That doesn't really make any sense Mick. You are implying that players would have walked out had he stayed on and yet we are pretty much hearing from a players mouth the opposite.

The only player I concede wanted Rafa out before was Carra, but he has already shown to be a sly one in that respect.

Just admit it mate, some players were as much attracted to playing under Benitez as playing for Liverpool Football Club and now he has been replaced by someone not half has good they are laying their cards out.

Lets move back to talking about Pepe. Hes class, he needs a stable front 4 though to work at his best but hes won us mroe games than most, and you can tell by the fist pumps hes locing playing for Liverpool, no matter what manager hes playing under

In forcing out Rafa this was always going to be a possibility no matter how much some choose to deny. Pepe is a senior player and if he says others feel the same then Tom Werner and John Henry need to act swiftly and accordingly. This is what happens when you don't replace the manager with someone of an equal reputation.

Hopefully they will hang on till the summer at the very least when we will maybe looking for a new manager.

ok so what happens if we go onto win the fa cup and get into the cl this year? still going to sack Roy?

If's and buts mate. I would love to see us back in the CL next season as well as lift the FA Cup but if some players are unhappy deep down then maybe that won't be enough. Your missing the point that for some players the former manager's presence was half the reason for coming here.

Anyway I hope him and Fernando both stay and see out their best years here. Maybe once we bring in some better players in the next transfer window it could help calm the waters, a marquee signing if you will.

if we win things and get high up and look like a good team that can go onto do better next year players will be happy to stay.

there will be no way the owners will sack a manager that is winning games and doing a lot better than last year, we are not that sort of club and sorry but this is not the same as players going to the board last year saying theywere unhappy with the manager.

yep i can understand any player being unhappy with the club and they way results have gone...but they need to look at themselves first and see if they are playing there best . i can tell you this, in my view PEPE can play a lot better than he has done so far this year.

The reason he wants to leave is because of that 69 year old dinosaur fossil of a goalie coach Roys brought with him, he can just about walk never mind train Pepe.

Its a no brainer Roy's trainer to stay or Pepe to leave hmmmmmmm..............
