Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Very true Fowler, it might be decided before the Newcastle game if we are not at the top of our game and we havent exactly been there all season. Obviously despite my fears i hope we prevail cos CL is vital to this club. To miss out once is bad enough , twice will have far reaching implications for this club ....

newcastle have gone backwards more than we have this season. they finished 3rd last year. i still think we have a better side than them though. i'd take given, woodgate, shearer from their side and that's it.

plus- bobby robson has never won at anfield as a player or a manager so that is in our favour. don't bet against another 4-3! :)

it's quite bizarre really. liverpool newcastle at anfield always produces goals galore. can't see it this time though due to the importance of the game (potentially)

"collymore scores in stoppage time!"

MEMORIES! :)  :)

I was fortunate to be at both 4-3's and that moment when Collymore was put in by Barnes with a slide rule pass and went on to score was an incredible moment.

He peeled away "gob wide open" in a mixture of shock and elation, great memories indeed. :p

Newcastle are run by an senial O.A.P. If we can't beat them, with there s##t defence then we got problems.

yeah woodgate is their defence. without shearer they would be in the bottom 3.

Liverpool almost always beat Newcastle 4-2, that's my anticipated result :)
