He was great for us at times, disastrous at others. Good luck in Turkey. No need for the bitter exchanges on the way out tho

Good luck to him, think hes at his best in defensive teams so was exposed under Rodgers and Klopp plus hes not getting any younger of course.

Apparently he is calling Klopp a d1ckhead and if so then I am really disappointed as that is very unprofessional. I had a higher regard for him.

It looks like he's apologised, still, not a good way to leave the club you have been at for the best part of your career.
Whoever wrote the message it shows a total lack of class. Footballers are supposed to be highly paid professionals and role models, some of them need to remember that.

Ah, the old "my brother/friend did it"

I won't hold it against him. He had a couple of good seasons - when he was 27-29 - but other than that he's been above average. Nothing more, nothing less. WIsh him luck, but his best days are well behind him.

Klopp is a dickhead....... For not selling him earlier!  :rasp

But in all seriousness skrtel has been been an OK defender at times with a strong commitment to our club. He remains on the Christmas card list... For now. Further social meadia slips ups may change that.

Come on Martin... you're not a big enough celebrity to have someone else manage your instagram account...

I've always heard footballers saying they have too much time on their hands when they're not training...

Martin's been a good servant, at one stage he was the best defender in the country until a crunching tackle at Chelsea saw a turning point in his career when he stopped taking risks. Always gave 100%, went off the boil in his last season however that's life.

Good luck you ugly b'stard.

Him leaving is the best decision for all parties. Was a good servant for the club and I wish him well.

Martin Skrtel is on the brink of completing his £5.5million move to Fenerbahce, Skrtel is ready to move on after eight years having fallen down the pecking order after the appointment of Jurgen Klopp.
