What ever you say about him not being able to play as a lone front man etc Ballo doesnt help himself by showing no effort in any game

Agreed there, I thought his best game for us was against Spurs partnered with Studge. The only way to find out is to go back to the diamond formation again and see how it goes, because every other formation is seeing us look like a Championship side.

Torres isn't even the shadow of the player he was when we first had him. The way we play now wouldn't suit him either unless we adopt a counter attacking style again.
At chelsea he struggled as he was always in the box recieving the ball and couldn't use his pace to create the space he needs. Thats why costa suits them down to the ground. His best work in done from 10 to 12 yds out while torres needs to be let go from the half way line.

I just sense he is going to produce for us. I agree with most he needs to be up front with another front man.

It's his body language which makes him look bad in terms of attitude, he does not play with a smile on his face.

I said it on the Torres thread, he is better than what we have available and at least he can run the line up front on his own

Sorry to blow my own trumpet yet again but just read back page of papers tommorow. Be interesting to see if brendan dare uses mario tomorrow as hes desperate to get rid. :nod
