2 - 0 would be a very good result.

would be ideal and what we should aim for.. Woud love to be 2-0 up in the first half so we could sub torres and gerrard and think about the blackburn game!

If we are to draw though it has to be 0-0. Look at Utd last night, they are :censored: now. Not that we cannot win at SB but we don't want to make it harder on ourselves.

you reckon?

even at 2-0 a last second goal (e.g. like last years SF  ) would totally :censored: up the whole tie

there'll be no "resting" , only tactical changes tonight...  :pirate

Good point, although I doubt they would have won so handsomely as to be able to leave players out

It keeps the pressure on them mentally as well. Good result all round but I expect they make it through to the semi.

Unless your married and tonight is your anniversary of her bday or she could be a potential wife then go with C. Otherwise the answer should ALWAYS be b or a. :D

I'd find out if she's a footy fan, might be early dinner, watch footy and then...............

But your options are :

a) go to dinner earlier, skip anything you had planned for afters or watch the TV during afters

b) ask if she'd mind doing dinner at half-time

c) record it or get someone to

d) wear an earpiece and listen to the radio, might be more interesting than the date

e) promise her you'll take her to a much fancier restaurant and twice if she'll postpone

f) position yourself perfectly so the match reflects into her eyes/glasses, and it will look like you're gazing into her eyes when in fact you'll be watching the match!

g) kick yourself six hundred times for allowing something to get in the way of footy, just think if it doesn't go well then you'll have missed the footy for nothing

Oh and those saying 2-0 will be a good result, did you not read me saying it plenty on here? Twelves times the home side has won a Champions League knock-out 1st leg 2-0 and twelve times they went through. It's not "perfect", but it has a 100% success rate so far and it's more realistic than bigger margins. But if we lose then we can just concentrate on the league.
