LIVERPOOL VS BOLTON - build up

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby The Manhattan Project » Thu Nov 29, 2007 12:59 am

After a successful 80-0 win over Beastcats of Turkey (they are the cousins of the better known Thundercats)

Image

A win over Newcastlemanie XXXX at St James' Hospital.

Image

And the recent win over the great Charisma and Helder Postman who lost 4-1 while playing for Port Of Gulls.

Image

The great Liverpools Soccer Association (established 2007) next take on the might of Bolton Wanderers. Now, since they only wander rather than run, I expect an easy victory.

The city of Bolton was founded during the Industrial Revolution as a railway station where trains would dump their waste products.

Among Bolton's notable tourist locations is the famous "Old Truck Burned Out"

The "lamp-post"

Image

And of course the world renowned "pavement"

Image

Bolton is the home town of snooker player Tony Knowles, who's career peaked in 1982, the same year Ben Kingsley liberated India from years of British oppression.

Now I couldn't find a picture of Tony Knowles, so here's a picture of Nick Berry instead.

Bolton was named after the ballard crooner Michael Bolton.

And finally, some Michael Bolton facts:

- His hair was strong enough to be used as body armour.
- A single strand could suspend an elephant by the tail.
- A lock of his hair is worth more than gold.
- Scientists are currently in the process of researching whether strands of his hair could replace fibre-optics.

So Kevin Nolan and Nicky Hunt are suspended and Guthrie is ineligible.

We HAVE to win this one

   Class Manhatton!

We usually beat Bolton at Anfield so I don't expect much of a problem here, especially with their form this season

Three or four nil maybe

Keep the run going boys! March on!

Great starter Manhattan!! I hadn't seen so many tourist highlights like the lamp and the pavement since the Wigan Space reseach centre was posted. :D

I wish Xabi's brother plays in Anfield, as it would mean that we'd control the center of midfield from minute one. But I think as of late he doesn't play much there.

If the other Spaniard Ivan Campo plays, he's decent but he's slow and you can give him a tough afternoon by just simply playing a Sissoko or a Mascherano that are quite insisting in the pressure.

I have seen two games of them for the sake of curiosity of Xabi's brother's fate, and they looked píss poor to me. I don't know whether the new manager has improved the team or not.

More than species it's an ecosystem. Dozens of species are reported to thrive only in his hair  :D

Manhattan could you keep starting threads for our remaining games, please?
You've got the talent, you know that.  :bowdown
