And so said all the mancs, and so said all the mancs..............

30 years was it since notlob beat the scum at their own place.

We should win against notlob but then we should have beaten brum at home as well, and spudz who were in drop zone form under Jol. I reckon Rafa might rest Torres and start with two from Kuyt, Voronin and Crouch

Dont expect a highly entertaining game with Bolton's style..Hope Rafa names an unchanged squad from yesterday. It is, arguably, our best team bar injuries to Agger & Xabi.

As any one ever saw Under Seige 2? it was on BBC 1 last week and does anyone else think the bad guy looks like Campo? (the other bad guy looks like Ravenelli but I cant find a picture of him!)

I didn't see the TV show but if that's the bloke you are on about, he does look a lot liek campo (a younger version of), unless of course that IS Campo and i've got the wrong end of the stick.

What do people think we should do with team selection. I suspect we could practically pick any sensible combination and we ought to win (mind you I did say that against Birmingham). Should we just check the lads out in training and pick whoever is freshest? Should we watch videos of them under Megson and if they defend deep immediately drop Torres? Should we keep the same team as the Champions League game, or the same team as the last league game, or doesn't it make any difference? Should we perhaps revisit the team which beat Besiktas 8-0, or is it time for Lee Peltier?

For my part, I'd start with the team which i believe should have started against Porto, that is to say the same one which beat Newcastle 3-0 except Masherano coming in for Sissoko. At a push I'd replace Kuyt (from that team, not from the last team because he wasn't in it anymore) with Crouch (who's probably got three goals in his last 120 mins of Champions League football or something daft).

What would you do guys?

I dont think that Rafa will take the same first team from the game against Porto.

Thats against the principies of Rafa Benitez ^^

I think Hypiä will start again because  Agger was injured the last time so Benítez wont bring him from the beginning.

I hope that Sissoko doesnt play in the first team against Bolton. He isnt so good the last time.

Do you know why Riise doesnt play?
I like him very much and i think he plays a little bit better than arbeloa.

I think this could be the team against Bolton and we'll win 2:0  :D

Riise has been relatively poor recently but you couldnt see him being outmuscled the way arbeloa was for the Porto goal

Riise wouldn't even have the opportunity to do so since he would be trailing ten yards away from his man. He has been :censored: poor this season but I hope he comes back.

I think roberto Carlos would disagree with that, fwiw, i think Gerrard hits the ball harder and more accurately than him as well

Ravenelli was awesome in that movie. That girl pepper sprayed him in the face and he LIKED THE TASTE!!!!

As for Campo, I know he plays for Bolton and that's enough to push anyone over the brink of sanity, but I thought he was wrong to try and use that satellite to destroy the world.
