as far as kewell is concerned, true, he played a few nice touches and got involved in some attacks. but that doesn't earn him the right to not try hard the whole game. i'm sure there were severall moments today when he just watched the ball run past him when he could have got it.

Xabi, Didi, and Gerrard won us this game.
Ping pong has to go hes sh.ite so is kewell both sh.ite they wouldnt get in any team in the prem, so why should we honour this pair and keep them on our books?

pongolle had a good game, worked hard, showed skill and was involed a lot, what exactly did he do that was so bad?

Erm he was never where he should have been for passes and when he did get the ball the ****** took it right off him he sh.ite, hes not quality and he needs to go along with Harry kewell.

How old are you Fowler? Pongolle did nothing today, he is not a winger, and he is too small and weak to play up front. Just because he went past two arsenal players and gave us a few seconds of entertainment does not mean he can hide for 89 minutes. Kewell played like a wee girl. idiot, did i say that was the only thing he did all game, and whats my age got to do with anything either  i could be 9 or 45 and have the same opinion, anyway he didnt even play up front, just shows how much you pay attention to the game. Right...we have just beaten the team who's standard we aspire to reach and we should rejoice and it's sad to see so many critical comments here. Nick-picking bunch you guys...Kewell didn't play as bad as some posted here but still not the high standard he is capable of playing. Hyypia and Pongolle played well overall.

Work rate and drive won us the game today. If the lads were physically capable of putting in that much effort every game we'd be wiping the floor with the likes of Spurs, Blackburn & Bolton, no doubt about it.

As for today, what a performance     Kewell was poor again but apart from that I've no complaints. Gerrard & Alonso were magical and Hamann played a blinder and was our motm imo.

Mellor still looks a bit slow but he can be forgiven for all his sins tonight!

All in all a well deserved victory. Review of the team:

Riise - Played well bit did get tired towards the end

Hyypia - Had a good game today but sometimes gives the ball away and plays risky but had a good game

Carra - I would not be supprised if he can even replace the likes of campbell, terry and ferdinand at the England squad - love his no nonsense style

Finnan - Had a good game today the lad

Kewell - never really impressed me but did keep Lauren outta the picture, i feel kewell doesnt care about football anymore

Gerrard Alonso - Nice work but did dive at the beginning but who gives a ****** GERRARDS the man

Mellor - didn't do jacksh*t towards the end BENNI START HIM EVERYGAME! lol

Pongolle - worked hard today

Nunez - played well when he came on

Partick vieira - diver and a cheat

I was on the arsenal forums and they were saying sell vieira in jan and kept slagging reyes form etc.

Hamann...moped up everything in front of him, tackled well, closed down the supply line to Arsenal's forward and had his best game in a red shirt. MOTM

I thought Kewell did well with Lauren and kept him occupied, his lousy shot near the end was a pi$$er, but if his header had gone in, we would have been singing his praises.
If his problem is fittness he could still get there yet.

I think he was ****** because the interviewer thought he would be happy with top four e.g like when houllier was in charge .He thinks along with the rest of us that we've got to be aiming for the title and nothing less.
