One of the rare ones off here who actually attend the games and a momentous afternoon at Anfield. been back about 3 hours now but had to lie down in a darkened room to recover, what a great game to be part of and the atmosphere was to coin a familiar phrase "electric" .

Some obversations from the game :

Hamann , Gerrard and Alonso were the key players, some on here were advocating a 5 man midfield as a way of playing Arsenal and it worked perfectly today. Gerrard given a  free role was a masterclass in tactics on Raffa's part and Mellor ran his socks off and deserved the plaudits at the end.....

Rise started well and faded, Finnon was sokid as were the back 5 , kewell is still lacking any confidence.

One of my top moments watching LFC today and I've had a few in my time !!!!!! :D

motm was clearly Hamann or Gerrard

but in any game hamman or gerrard can get the motm
the kid showed potential in his first real big game and came out a winner motm is just something to boost his confidence, and will go along way till next game which he will probably start and that confidence from this game and the motm will show.

I was a bit ashamed of myself after the game ........cos beforehand I didn't believe we could win. I should know better than to dismiss the mighty reds :D

Kewell is an enigma Cisse ??? Everyone knows what he is capable of but he appears to be playing on ZERO confidence and at this level that essentially is the only difference between players ...........Aoart from the extraordinary and gfifted players like Henry and Gerrard the only thing that seperates most prem players is confidence and Kewell has none at the moment !

Cast your mind back a year when we played Arsenal At Anfield ....First half Kewell was world calss and bossed the game ,what a difference a year makes :(

Ping Pong indeed :D  Did you see taht audacious dummy he sold Laurena nd Vierra, it was right in fromnt of where i sit and my mate turned round and said "he even fooled me , i was looking up the pitch thinking the ball had gone that way !!!!! :p
