Another MF which isn't top class? what we do with him here back again?

How about play him in his correct position? That would be a start

Which position is that?

Attacking midfielder, one of the reasons Sterling gave for leaving was that he was fed up of continually tracking back to our corner flag when he was playing wing back, I imagine it was the same for Lazar. Players like Lazar and Sterling are expected to go past players and to do something special every game but thats almost mission impossible when you've got half an eye on all the space you are leaving behind you and where their wide player is.

I always thought Lazar was a winger? Seemed to be camped on the right in a lot of the vids that were posted when we signed him.

Yeah it will be extremely disappointing to see him leave without at least giving him a chance to see how he can do under Klopp.

If he does go mate ,here's his best bits compacted ,we could really do with that kind of pace right now !

Brendan played him mainly as a wing back, surely given his age/spending £20m on the lad it would be worth giving him a decent run in the side in his natural position (before we sell him)

I am hoping we keep him so he and Grujic settle. I will be really disappointed if we lose him before Lallana.

You're like me Yakka there were more than enough glimpses to know the kid could be special ,I desperately wanted him to start in Sterlings position ,the lads direct running scares teams to death ,he could have been a defenders worst nightmare if the last incumbent had have had the stones to drop Sterling.

I will be absolutely devastated if we don't see him in red again !

Bringing him back will feel like a fresh new signing. Really don't know what will happen to this lad at the moment.

I like him but unless he dramatically improves his shooting and increases his core strength he won't make it.

He isn't actually very good with dribbling with the ball at his feet but he surprised me with how good his passing is in the final third. The problem is that his best games at Benfica came in the centre where we already have a lot of other players who play there.

Will he be better than Ibe though? Ibe seems to be improving again.

Even with all our injury problems Markovic would still barely get a game, who would he play ahead of? Couthino, Ibe, Lallana, Firmino, Milner? he isnt better than any of them and will go down as another criminal waste of money by Liverpool Football Club.

This. I'd bring him back just to get a bit more competition for places but cant say I expect him to suddenly become a player good enough for the level we aspire to reach.
