Lallana is a mystery to me and no doubt he is failing at LFC ,but Marco isn't the answer...

I agree, Marco isn't the answer at wing back so maybe we should get him back and try him in his proper position.

Out of interest, what position do people actually think is his best?

One of the wide positions in a front 3. I actually think he looks best in the old inside left position cutting in on his right foot.

Still not convinced he's good enough. He'll get a chance next season though so we'll see.

He is a winger, not a wing back. Can play 10 as well, but being played out of position and being judged is harsh, when guys like Ibe and Lallana get their preferred spot and offer less.

I think he'll be off in the summer. Will probably end up in the Turkish league or somewhere closer to his level. Not good enough.

The lad is talented imo. What he probably needs is to bulk up a bit so he can impose himself in the English gamea bit more but there were flashes here and there that he can do things. Still a young lad so bit unfair writing him off yet.

Anyone shocked? Brendan couldn't work with talented kids. Needs Sh*t players like Lallana and Milner.

I think if Markovic hadn't been sent out on loan and had the opportunity to have worked under Klopp in the short time he's been here ,we would all be talking about the lads quality.

He's worth somewhere between 5-10 million. I'm not sure another season at the bench at Liverpool will do him (his development) any good but it also wont change his market value that much.

I dont think he has what it takes for this level. He'd do well at a counter attacking side (Leicester) or a decent midtable outfit like West Ham. The article mentions a lack of wide players but I'm not entirely convinced we need them. We have Coutinho and Firmino to fit in the 3 AM slots and given our recent pursuit of Texeira I think we'll see Klopp go for a goal scoring midfielder in the summer as well. That would leave us with Lallana, Ibe, Markovic, Milner as other squad options which imo is more than enough. I can see us selling him if a decent offer is made.

I don't think he will be sitting on the bench ,I think as an extremely pacy  winger he will be provided with plenty of game time under Klopp ,and in my humble  opinion he's only behind our Brazillian duo  as one of the best passers we have at the club. Markovic is an intelligent player who always finds pockets of space so the manager could even reinvent him as a centre mid ,who knows .....The only thing I know for sure is it wont be as a fucking wing back.

I for one cant wait to see him back in the team with 'Captain Tactics' now gone !
